Our dedicated day facility on Level 2 is a purpose-built space delivering half and full day programs. Programs are facilitated by psychologists and typically run from six to 16 weeks. Based on best practice and proven techniques, programs are outcome-focused and support you with the mind health tools you need for your recovery.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Day Program

Facilitated by our clinical psychologists, this short six-week program is specifically designed for participants experiencing depression, obsessive compulsive or post-traumatic stress. Acceptance and commitment therapy is used to embrace negative thoughts and feelings instead of trying to eliminate or avoid them. Using the latest enquiry and skill-based techniques alongside practical exercises and wellness techniques.

Substance and Medication Dependence Recovery Day Program

Facilitated by our clinical psychologists, this program is designed for people who experience dependent or hazardous use of alcohol, prescription medications, and a range of recreational (illicit) drugs. The ten-week course provides participants with an accurate understanding and specific skills for managing substance usage, using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) across half or full day sessions.

Our Dialectical Behaviour TherapyBrief (DBT-Brief) programme provides skills-based group therapy for people who struggle
with chronic emotion dysregulation and unhelpful behavioural patterns. Research has shown brief DBT skills groups offer an effective treatment approach for improving mood, increasing emotion regulation, and developing helpful coping responses.

Facilitated by our psychologists, this program provides assessment and therapy for people diagnosed with Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia Nervosa or Binge Eating experiences. The sixteen-week program helps participants to gain understanding around eating behaviours and their physical impact.

Facilitated by our clinical psychologists, this program is designed to help people understand and manage symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to help them learn how to change the unhelpful thoughts and beliefs maintaining their PTSD. Using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), participants gain practical tools to reduce stress and physical symptoms across half or full day sessions.

Young Hearts’ Day Program

Designed for participants aged 65 and over, and facilitated by our psychologists, the program uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to address anxiety and mood experiences. The twelve week program looks at the impact such emotional concerns and experiences have on activity, sleep, social lives, relationships and health as we age. It promotes healthy lifestyles and change across half or full day sessions.
