At Re-centre we have a model of mental health care that is pathways which are evidence-based to provide you with treatments to help you getting back to living your best life.
When you are first referred to Re-centre, our clinical intake coordinator will partner you to the right psychiatrist for your initial consultation. At your consultation your psychiatrist will take a thorough history and determine with you on the right treatment pathway for your mental health care. This may include staying as an inpatient in our modern hotel-like suites.
To access Re-centre’s services, you will need to see your GP or treating psychiatrist where they can refer you directly into our services through Specialist and Referrers, or by calling 1800 RECENTRE and speaking to our Intake Coordinator. Alternatively, you can contact us once you have received your referral letter from your GP or treating psychiatrist.
Despite what some health funds may tell you, all health funds will cover your stay at Re-centre as an inpatient. When you have served the initial wait period and are up to date with your payments. Mental Health cover is also now available for upgrade and same-day use as an initiative from the Australian Government.
Yes, you can enroll in any inpatient or day-patient programs without health insurance cover. Simply contact our intake coordinator on 1800 RECENTRE (732 368), who will be able to provide a quote based on the program as a day or stay patient.
