Dr David Hughes was trained at Monash University graduating with MBBS (first class honours) in 1992. David subsequently moved to Sydney in 1995 and commenced training in psychiatry obtaining his FRANZCP in 2002.David has worked predominantly within South Eastern Sydney in both public and private sectors, developing a network of relationships with other providers in the area. He is experienced in providing care for people experiencing the rang of mental health problems across the spectrum from late adolescence to early old age. David values the opportunity to engage with patients, their loved ones and carers, to understand their circumstances and to provide comprehensive care using a range of strategies in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He is a keen cyclist and Collingwood supporter.
