Dr Alex Pilsky is a senior psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience across private practice and public hospital settings. He has been practicing in South Sydney area since 2006 and maintains a prolific private practice at Waratah Private Hospital. Dr Pilsky has a broad range of experience in general adult psychiatry and medicolegal psychiatry
Dr Alex Pilsky is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and holds a Certificate in Forensic Psychiatry and is a Certified Assessor for Permanent Impairment.
Dr Pilsky has lectured amongst general practitioners in the area of treatment of mood disorders and perinatal psychiatry. He regularly participates in continuing medical education and is passionate about improving patient outcomes via supporting general practitioners and other health professionals.
Dr Pilsky believes in closely collaborating with patients and their next of kin to achieve best results via the most appropriate combination of evidence based treatments including empathic listening, medication, individual and group therapy.
