Senior Physiotherapist and Physiotherapists

Waratah Private Hospital is a state of the art 108 bed facility that currently specialises in the delivery of comprehensive care including orthopaedic, general, urological, gynaecological and endoscopic surgery, also offering pain management, medical and rehabilitation services. Centrally located in Hurstville, the hospital is 20 minutes from the Sydney CBD and 5 minutes from major public transport hubs.

With a brand-new state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym and hydrotherapy pool, we are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist and Physiotherapists to support our growing inpatient and day rehabilitation programs. Full time, part time and casual Physiotherapist positions are available.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have the following:

• Current Physiotherapy Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex physiotherapy caseload.
• Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of settings (e.g. acute surgical inpatient rehabilitation and Day Program).
• Current class C unrestricted driver’s license
• Weekend roster availability – negotiable

Desirable criteria:

• Casting/plastering experience
• Hydrotherapy experience
• FIM and AROC experience
• SIRA certification
