About Prof Warwick Bruce

Professor Warwick Bruce completed his orthopaedic training and Fellowships in Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Hip and Knee Surgery in Sydney, having obtained his MBBS degree at the University of Sydney.

He has worked at hospitals throughout NSW as well as in the United States as a visiting fellow. Prof. Bruce has won countless awards, including the Zimmer Traveling Fellowship Award. He has published chapters in five books, and written more than ninety journal articles. Additionally, he is the NSW Representative of the Australian Joint Registry of the Australian Orthopaedic Association; and a founder and former director of the Auburn District Hospital Bone Bank.

A father of six, Prof. Bruce enjoys playing golf and has been very involved in other sports, especially rugby and athletics.
