Dr Yu-Tang Shen is a dynamic psychiatrist, who has an interest in Old Age Psychiatry, Psychological therapy and PTSD. He has undertaken his medical training at The University of Melbourne, and has trained at the Prince of Wales Hospital, St George Hospital, and St Vincent’s Hospital.
Dr Shen completed his fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and subspecialised training in Old Age Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. His experience in various modalities includes psychodynamic therapy, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing, interpersonal psychotherapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy. Dr Shen is a member of the Faculty of Old Age, Faculty of Psychotherapy and Neurostimulation.
Dr Shen teaches medical students and trains psychiatrists. He has held positions as a psychogeriatrician at various hospitals including St Vincent’s Hospital and Liverpool Hospital.
