MBBS, PhD, FRACP
Dr Young Yu (MBBS, PhD, FRACP) is a general and interventional cardiologist who has practiced in the St George area for over 10 years.
He graduated from UNSW with first degree honours and considers himself a local of the area, completing his internship and cardiology advanced training at St George Public Hospital.
Academia followed with completion of a PhD at University of Sydney and The Heart Research Institute. Dr Yu pursued a career in interventional cardiology at the prestigious Harvard teaching hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Presently Dr Yu blends private practice with his role as VMO at St George Public hospital where he is on the STEMI and on-call roster.
