Dr Vidya Shirumalla is a pain Specilaist who believes in integrating multidisciplinary pain management with interventional pain treatments. She has keen interest in both chronic non-cancer pain as well as persistent cancer pain.
Dr Shirumalla completed her specialist training in Intensive Care and Pain Medicine in Adelaide and Brisbane. Her dual training in two holistic specialties has given her a unique perspective that allows her to connect with patients and devise individualised plans.
Her pain education sessions have consistently been well received by patients. She also enjoys formal medical student teaching. She endeavours to provide the best, personalised care each time to all patients with persistent pain.
