Dr Kenneth Chan is a Rehabilitation Medicine specialist who graduated from the University of NSW in 1994. After gaining his specialist qualification in 2000, he has been working as a Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant Physician for more than 20 years in both public and private sectors, including rehabilitation for WorkCover and CTP clients.
Dr Chan has worked in a wide area of Rehabilitation Medicine including stroke rehabilitation, brain injury rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, post-trauma and deconditioning rehabilitation, pain management, geriatric rehabilitation and amputee rehabilitation.
Currently he is a senior staff specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine at St George Hospital and Calvary Hospital. He is a Visiting Medical Officer at Waratah Private Hospital. He has a special interest in neuro-rehabilitation, orthopaedic rehabilitation and geriatric rehabilitation, presenting a number of research results in Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine annual scientific meetings. He is a supervisor for trainees in the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine and taught in the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW.
