Dr. Kwok is an Australian-trained Specialist Colorectal and General Surgeon who graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2007 with First Class Honours and completed his surgical training through the St. George Hospital network. After obtaining his Fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) he completed a Master of Surgery from the University of Sydney on the topic of perianal fistulas.
Further pursuing his interest in Colorectal Surgery, Dr. Kwok then undertook four additional years of subspecialty training in local and international surgical units including Edinburgh (UK), Southwest Sydney, Wollongong and Newcastle (NSW). Whilst training as a Fellow under the supervision of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ), he presented at national conferences and has been awarded prizes for his research activities. He is also a well-published author and performs peer reviews for international surgical journals.
With a special interest in colorectal cancer, perianal fistulas, haemorrhoids, inflammatory bowel disease and other general surgical conditions such as hernias, gallbladder pathology and skin lesions, Dr Kwok performs a wide variety of procedures utilising endoscopy, colonoscopy and laparoscopic/minimally invasive techniques.
