Associate Professor Sam Adie is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee reconstruction surgery. Sam graduated with Honours from the University of New South Wales.
He completed his orthopaedic training in Sydney followed by Fellowships in prestigious centres at the University of Toronto (Canada) and University of Oxford (UK).
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Sam also has a busy academic practice. He holds two Masters degrees and a PhD from UNSW.
He has published in the most prestigious medical journals, and won multiple awards with competitive funding of ~$10million for his research into joint replacement and orthopaedic trauma.
He is also an orthopaedic trauma surgeon at St George Hospital, a Level 1 trauma centre where he is often referred complex cases from across the state.
Sam and his team always strive to provide skilled, evidence-based care with empathy and compassion to their patients.
