Standard discharge: Patients usually remain at Re-centre for a period between 14 to 21 days. The treating psychiatrist will assess your condition and progress and determine if you are ready to be discharged. You will be discharged before 10.00 am Monday to Friday and your next of kin will be advised of your discharge. You will be required to organise a follow-up appointment with your treating psychiatrist at Re-centre on level 2 (ph 9598 0508).
Self-discharge: It is not recommended to be self-discharged. You must be reviewed by the CMO or a psychiatrist and your next of kin will also be advised of your wish to self-discharge. You will also be required to organize a follow-up appointment with your treating psychiatrist at Re-centre on level 2 (ph 9598 0508) or your GP.
