Facilitated by our psychologists, this short six-week program is specifically designed for participants experiencing depression, obsessive compulsive or post-traumatic stress. Acceptance and commitment therapy is used to embrace negative thoughts and feelings instead of trying to eliminate or avoid them. Using the latest enquiry and skill-based techniques alongside practical exercises and wellness techniques.

Outcomes

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy helps participants assess how their interpretation of a situation affects their mood and behaviour. The program will identify maladaptive or distortive views, and challenge these to reduce the intensity of emotions or behaviour in response to triggering circumstances and past experiences.

Along with attending the group, participants will have individual sessions to construct their own wellness plans.
