Dr Fergus Hill is a general adult psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He completed his medical degree in Adelaide and undertook early clinical training in the Northern Territory. His psychiatric training was with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) and Justice Health in New South Wales, where he now holds a staff specialist position. He is currently completing advanced certificate training in addictions.
Dr Hill has a special interest in addiction, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. He brings a holistic, person-centred, trauma-informed approach to care. He works with experience across a wide range of psychiatric presentations and age groups. His clinical work spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, and he is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based treatment in a collaborative and respectful manner. He focuses on building a strong, trusting therapeutic connection with all his patients.
