Dr Daniel Kozman specialises in minimally invasive surgery for colorectal and general surgical conditions, for example, hernias and gallbladder disease. He studied Medicine at the University of NSW, graduating in 2000 with Honors (Class 2 Level 1). Following this, he completed his internship and residency at St George Hospital and then completed General Surgical training, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008. He subsequently completed an additional 2 years of sub-specialty training in Colorectal Surgery (at Box Hill Hospital Melbourne and St George Hospital Kogarah) under the supervision of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ).
Dr Kozman is a specialist Colorectal & General Surgeon, a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New-Zealand (CSSANZ), and is accredited with the Gastrointestinal Enterological Society of Australia (GESA) for training in gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr Kozman is committed to teaching junior doctors. He is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales. Dr Kozman also teaches junior medical officers, registrars (training surgeons) and fellows (training colorectal surgeons).
